Started 960418
It all started some 2 years ago when one of my friends happend to find this Mud at another friends work. He had heard about muds and he was looking around for some mud based on Tolkien and his works since we all were playing RoleMaster which is based on his material. At that time neither of us had ever played any mud before. We all joined in ofcourse, and it didn't take long before all of us were hooked into it.
At that time our chars were Utgbald, Hordak, Marathon & Melvin. A bit later on Floggo joined up, and after some more time Zemael and Zarangal joined aswell. At this time we were real newbies and had little knowledge how the game actually worked, and more or less died as soon as you saw *a troll*. No chance of escaping back then. :)
After I'd managed to get Utgbald to Legend status, I started a Mage (who's still in the game, but not active) who reached lvl 20. But then she got demoted, orc_killed and mob_died.. All in one evening.. So I quitted her and started to play a Troll some. At that time Rogrog managed to get to level 17, but then I got tired of him and haven't played him much since. He is 19, almost 20 now thou.
The time after this was pretty "chaotic" and I levelled many chars and died several times with Utgbald while trying to "solo warrens when drunk RL" which is not such a great idea. I didn't organise myself untill I started out my little orcie.
Stripper was the second orc cleric (shaman nowdays) I did and he had great stats so I guess I was lucky. I then spent time to get him up to uruk status pretty quickly. When he achieved his goal I started to hunt with him, which was very fun.
Somewhere in the middle of Strippers carrieer I took one of my mages and made him a istar. He had much fun and killed many of Saurons minons. He Immorted at level 30 and now lives on valinor.
Nowdays I mostly play Utgbald or Stripper, or ofcourse to build some with Dorien. Once in a while I give Rogrog some air, or one of my other mages or thieves But I guess that Stripper and Utgbald are the most important ones to me anyway.
Plan: To get Utgbald to lvl 40 and to get Rogrog to Olog. After this I will prob put all my efforts into levelling my BN so I have a BN legend aswell..

Plan?!?!?!?! That one failed.. Atleast Rogrog is an Olog now, but.... Since the last time I wrote, Stripper managed to become almost lvl 33 and on Warlords list, then he mobdied to bugged Hardened Rangers (their lanterns didn't work) and is currently Aging. Stupid thing about that was a Dwarf that was in the room while I was incapacitated for 10 secs and he didn't hit me, but he still made me loose 20+ wps which he greedily took for himself.
After this I played Utgbald who was 100k from lvl 40 when he mobdied in Morie due to the fact that Shagosh felt like repopping on us, so he is also aging at the mo.
I finally Ologged Rogrog thou and managed to get him a Warsword from Blixt, so he's ok even thou he's a bit immobile. I've also levelled some other chars but they are not worth to mention yet.
Oh, and my BN got deleted, gotta learn to log them on a bit more often.
Current plan: To get Utgbald to lvl 40 (still), get Stripper on Warlords list, legend my other chars and get Luterin to FoY, he's 110+ yrs now and that is NOT good for a Human Thief. :)

Well, Since the last time I wrote here I spent most my time on playing Rogrog, which was actually very fun. I had some excellent times with him and managed to get him to 9th place on the Warlords list before I died. I think it's an ok work to get a Troll up there since they are hard to play due to no defence and no mobility. Was fun anyway.
Stripper haven't seen the outside of orccaves much due to the fact that the servers are real unstable at the moment, otherwise I'd be hunting much more with him since he's a very fun char to play.
And as Utgbald passed his 32nd year I took him on a little Moria trip, just to "check him" out.. And he's still pretty good, but same thing here.. Don't feel like playing someone with tons of eq with sucky servers. He didn't level thou, so I still have to work some on his XP.
My other chars have been on to say hi etc, but no serious playing what so ever. Perhaps I should someday.. Atleast level my "around lvl 20" to legends anyway.
Oh, btw my orc warrior got deleted this time.. Sheesh, I gotta use retire some more or remember to log them on now and then... This is getting booring.. Current plan: Well, not much actually.. I still want Utgbald to become lvl 40 but I'm to lazy to xp.. And if servers get better I guess I'll be playing Stripper some more since he's actually a great char. Perhaps I should level a BN aswell.. *think*

Not much have happend the last months.. Utgbald finally managed to get to level 40 thou..
I've mostly played Rogrog, and he's become lvl 30 now. I've also levelled another troll just for fun, he's 20ish now and I think I will olog him pretty soon.
Luterin finally made his way to FoY so he's playable again, but then again, a human thief without bob isn't exactly what you really want, but I dont feel like just dumping a level 32 char.
I have no plan at all since I dont play that much
anymore, but I'm still thinking about making a BN or perhaps
another orc.
I dont think I will make a new whitie since I'm to lazy to level
the ones I have, but one never know...

Since my last "post" here much have happend.. Even thou I haven't really played mume that much lately... Utgbald haven't done much since he became lvl 40, and since they changed smite now I'll have to reprac him to be able to have any fun with him.. And ofcourse he would have to go to FoY aswell if he's to be playable at all.. Rogrog is lvl 31 but haven't been on much either.. I take him out for "air" now and then thou, he's still a pretty fun char.. Ulthug, my other troll, is level 21 (or 22) and he only get's to buffer for my buddies since he has 93% abs.. I've been thinking about dropping all his shit and run around west some.. We'll see.. Luterin was the most active char for a very long time.. And it wasn't very hard to learn how to plan and play with him without bob.. He actually made it to #3 on the Warlords list before I stopped playing him.. And when he had decayed Wps down to 19th place or so he died to a bug in the Morgul Blade and got a Reimburse.. Unfortunatly they couldn't reimburse the Warpoints so I stopped playing him a while.. He's still on now and then and he's as nasty as ever...He's lvl 37 or so now btw.. Stripper is lvl 34 and just resting in his hovel waiting for something amazing to happend to shamans so he will become fun to play solo again.. At the mo he's not good except in groups.. I made a new Orc whom I decided should be a warrior.. His name became Orthrod and I had alot of fun with him and he became lvl 27 before they messed up smite.. So now I'll have to reprac him to be able to play him just a little bit.. And his stats was really chosen as a smiting/bobbing warrior without defence so he will kinda suck with slash or crush... Oh well, we'll see.. Perhaps I'll reprac him since he is lvl 27 and has about 400 hps.. I also made a BN mage who I got to lvl 12 before I got tired of him.. I'll continue to play him someday because he has very good stats, but I dont know when.. I'm currently spending my time on a new hobbit cleric who will hopefully rock very much.. He has a very unusuall and strange yet incredible set of stats.. He's lvl 17 almost 18 at the time I write this but I will try to get him to legend status within a week or two so he can start to hunt.. I also have 2 other Mages and a Cleric, but they are "resting" and will keep resting for a while since they don't really "fit" in the game at the moment.. Perhaps some changes later on will make them fun again.. My current plan is to make my new Cleric a legend and teach him all there is about herblores. I will make and effort in really learning everything about herbs and herblores.. I'm doing progress with it but it's a huge subject.. If I get "boored" I might even reprac Orthrod or Utgbald to feel how it feels to play a warrior again.. With slash or something that is.. I'm just pondering what to do with all my warswords, hehe..
